  • Flexibility thanks to the 39 cell Yamamoto Neoprene in the arms
  • Infinity skin lining is gentle on your skin, especially in the neck area
  • SCS panels minimise the wetsuit’s resistance in the water
  • Faster transitions because of the inbuilt Hydrolite panels to help the wetsuit slip off easily during T1

Head Coach’s verdict:

I think this wetsuit is often undersold and mistaken as only suitable for ‘good’ swimmers. In the water, it is a very flexible, easy to swim in wetsuit. If you sometimes like to do the odd bit of breaststroke or butterfly you will find it possible in this wetsuit, whereas some other entry level models have too much buoyancy in the legs. The Orca Equip is also packed with some high-end features most notably the Yamamoto Neoprene construction and flexible lining. Because of the flexibility I find most of our beginner swimmers adapt easily to swimming in this wetsuit and enjoy the stretchy fit. It really fits like a second skin and is easy to get on and off either in transitions or. changing in a car park after your swim! I feel you get a lot of wetsuit technology for the price

Some of the key features of the Orca Equip wetsuit:

The combination of laser cutting on the neck and the inverse Velcro reduces friction preventing any abrasion on the skin

The HydroLite panels help the wetsuit come off easier, for faster transitions. This technology, combined with the SCS coating, helps the water slide off your wetsuit, without permeating it, considerably improving your hydrodynamics.

The inner Infinity Skin lining provides the feeling of absolute freedom. Designed based on a high-elasticity nylon that incorporates bamboo fibres, this technology is applied to the lining of our wetsuits to offer you greater flexibility with each stroke. This cloth maintains body heat longer, reduces body odor and the appearance of bacteria in your wetsuit. It is also made from natural eco-friendly materials to prevent the appearance of skin irritation and care for the environment.

39 CELL Yamamoto Neoprene

Yamamoto 39cell is an extremely flexible neoprene which supports an uninhibited natural swimming motion. 39cell extends to a 513% elongation rate, meaning this material is sure to move with you. Added benefits of zero water absorption and zero weight variation can mean only one thing: more speed. A fine balance between buoyancy and flexibility, 39cell is a durable material which will stand the test of time and distance, representing the best neoprene available in it’s class.

The Orca Equip is a popular entry level wetsuit for natural swimmers that are looking for a wetsuit with maximum flexibility to allow for a full stroke extension. The wetsuit sympathetically supports you, encouraging you  to develop your swimming skill without requiring you to change your swimming technique.
