Yamamoto 39 cell Neoprene

Which is an extremely flexible neoprene that supports an uninhibited natural swimming motion. 39cell extends to a 513% elongation rate, meaning this material is sure to move with you. A fine balance between buoyancy and flexibility, 39cell is a durable material which will stand the test of time and distance,

Super composite skin

Super Composite Skin (SCS) is the leading triathlon wetsuit lining because of its capacity to reduce friction and to provide the best possible hydrodynamics. Orca uses the most innovative version of Nano SCS, developed by the Yamamoto company, to ensure top speed in the water.

Aerodome 2

This new technology applied to the lower trunk area provides 30% greater buoyancy for swimmers. The secret lies in its composition: hundreds of cavities located between two layers of previously treated neoprene. Orca uses this material in the areas with the greatest body weight to raise you up to an optimal position in the water.

The HydroLite panels help the wetsuit come off easier, for faster transitions. This technology, combined with the SCS coating, helps the water slide off your wetsuit, without permeating it, considerably improving your hydrodynamics.

The Sonar wetsuit by Orca is the most versatile wetsuit in their range, it is suited to the technical capabilities and needs of much of the triathlete and open water swimming communities. Designed for the Total Swimmer, it combines buoyancy and flexibility in order to achieve a correct position in the water, improving your hydrodynamics. The Sonar wetsuit gives you the confidence you need to push a little further.

Orca groups their wetsuits based on your swimming ability or position in the water. This sonar wetsuit falls into the mid-range where it seeks to maximise flexibility with float-ability. To find out which category of swimmer you are, please use the Orca reference guide found here.

With the sonar wetsuit you get around 30% more buoyancy thanks to the Aerodrome technology. As a result, you will be able to stay in an elevated and elongated swimming position for longer. This is necessary for more efficient swimming.

CLS technology is also used in the sonar wetsuit which works by supporting your abdomen to help prevent twisting. This suit combines both CLS and Aerodrome technology so it helps you maintain correct lower body positioning during your swim.

This wetsuit uses Yamamoto 39 cell neoprene and inner super stretch lining. This allows for a long reach at the front of your stroke and a full arm cycle, this will help you maximise the distance per stoke.
