Featuring a super-stretch 3mm neoprene these gloves are easy to get on, fit well and feature a handy wetsuit cuff grip to help keep them in place under your wetsuit while you are swimming.
Pair them with your favourite wetsuit, a base layer and swimming socks to help keep you warmer on those winter open water swims.
Surf Swim School Verdict:
These gloves are a handy addition to your winter kit bag and feature longer cuffs, super-stretch neoprene and a bit of grip on the palm. The grips aren’t necessarily helpful while you are swimming but we found they came into their own on exiting the water and fumbling for our changing robe!
They are quite a thick glove so ideal for swimmers wanting to expose themselves to cooler temperatures or keep swimming for longer. You do lose some feel of the water while you are swimming but it’s possibly a winter trade-off you’ll be happy to accept in exchange for longer swims and fingers you can use when you get out?
These gloves are super stretchy and were still a good fit going up and down the size chart, trying to squeeze our hands into the smallest possible and largest! So, if your ideal size is sold out try the next size up or down as it may still work well for you.
We highly recommend drying these gloves inside out and they will also benefit from a rinse in freshwater after your swim to keep them fresh and help them dry before your next swim.
